Privacy Policy

Pinch is a Chrome extension and web service operated by Platos Collective LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Pinch.

1. Information We Collect

• Configuration data: Your business name, offer description, booking link, and sales framework settings.
• Anthropic API key: Stored locally in your browser using Chrome secure storage. Never sent to our servers.
• Conversation data: Instagram DM content processed to generate replies. Sent to our API and Anthropic's Claude AI only.
• Account information: Your email address used to authenticate with the Pinch dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate automated replies to your Instagram Direct Messages.
• To display your conversation history in the Pinch dashboard.
• To maintain your extension settings across sessions.
• To improve the Pinch service and fix bugs.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. Your data is shared only with:

• Anthropic: DM content is sent to Claude AI to generate replies. Governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Used to store conversation logs and user configuration securely.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your Anthropic API key is stored exclusively in your browser's local Chrome storage and is never sent to our servers. All other data is stored securely on Supabase. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

5. Data Retention

Conversation logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting tavon@platos.agency.

6. Your Rights

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out by uninstalling the extension.

7. Instagram Data

Pinch accesses Instagram Direct Messages solely to read incoming messages and send automated replies on your behalf. We do not access profile data, followers, media, or anything beyond Direct Messages. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

8. Children's Privacy

Pinch is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date above.
